Chapter 8
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܢܚܬ ܡܢ ܛܘܪܐ ܢܩܦܘܗܝ ܟܢܫܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ
1 Now when He descended from the tura {the mountain}, large crowds followed Him.

ܘܗܐ ܓܪܒܐ ܚܕ ܐܬܐ ܣܓܕ ܠܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܐܢ ܨܒܐ ܐܢܬ ܡܫܟܚ ܐܢܬ ܠܡܕܟܝܘܬܝ
2 And behold, a certain garba {leper} came, worshiped Him, and said, “Mari {My Lord} if you desire, you are able to make me clean!”

ܘܦܫܛ ܐܝܕܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܩܪܒ ܠܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܨܒܐ ܐܢܐ ܐܬܕܟܐ ܘܒܗ ܒܫܥܬܐ ܐܬܕܟܝ ܓܪܒܗ
3 And Eshu {Yeshua} stretched out His hand, and touched him, and said, “I desire, be clean!” And at that moment garbeh {his leprosy} was cleansed.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܚܙܝ ܠܡܐ ܠܐܢܫ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܬ ܐܠܐ ܙܠ ܚܘܐ ܢܦܫܟ ܠܟܗܢܐ ܘܩܪܒ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܦܩܕ ܡܘܫܐ ܠܣܗܕܘܬܗܘܢ
4 And Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “Why look for a nash {a man} to tell, rather, go show your soul {yourself} unto the Kahne {the Priests} and qareb {offer} the qurbana {the offering}, just as Mushe {Moses} commanded, for their testimony.”
 
ܟܕ ܥܠ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܟܦܪܢܚܘܡ ܩܪܒ ܠܗ ܩܢܛܪܘܢܐ ܚܕ ܘܒܥܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢܗ
5 Then, when Eshu {Yeshua} had entered Kaparnakhum {Capernaum}, a certain Qentruna {Centurion} approached Him, and was seeking from Him,

ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܛܠܝܝ ܪܡܐ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܘܡܫܪܝ ܘܒܝܫܐܝܬ ܡܫܬܢܩ
6 and was saying, “Mari {My Lord}, talayi {my boy} is lying down in the house and is paralyzed, and evilly tormented.

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܢܐ ܐܬܐ ܘܐܣܝܘܗܝ
7 Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “I will come and will heal him.”

ܥܢܐ ܩܢܛܪܘܢܐ ܗܘ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܠܐ ܫܘܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܬܥܘܠ ܬܚܝܬ ܡܛܠܠܝ ܐܠܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܐܡܪ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܘܢܬܐܣܐ ܛܠܝܝ
8 That Qentruna {Centurion} answered and said, “Mari {My Lord}, I’m not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but rather, only say the word, and talayi {my boy} will be healed.

ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܓܒܪܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܬܚܝܬ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܘܐܝܬ ܬܚܝܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܐܣܛܪܛܝܘܛܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܗܢܐ ܕܙܠ ܘܐܙܠ ܘܠܐܚܪܢܐ ܕܬܐ ܘܐܬܐ ܘܠܥܒܕܝ ܕܥܒܕ ܗܕܐ ܘܥܒܕ
9 For, I also am a gabra {a man} who is under authority, and under my power {lit. my hand} there are soldiers, and I say unto this one ‘go’ and he goes, and unto another ‘come’ and he comes, and unto my servant ‘do this' and he does it.”

ܟܕ ܫܡܥ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܬܕܡܪ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܕܐܬܝܢ ܥܡܗ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܦ ܠܐ ܒܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܫܟܚܬ ܐܝܟ ܗܕܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
10 Now, when Eshu {Yeshua} heard this, He was amazed, and said unto those that were coming with Him, “Amiyn {Truly} I say unto you, that not even in IysraIyl {Israel} have I found Haymanutha {Faith} like this!

 

1 그가 산에서 내려오시매 많은 무리가 그를 따르니라

2 한 나병환자가 와서 그분께 경배하고 이르되 원하시면 마리(나의 주)께서 원하시면 능히 나를 깨끗케 하실 수 있나이다 하니

3 에슈(예슈아)가 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시며 이르되 내가 원하노라 깨끗하다 하니 그리고 그 순간에 garbeh {그의 나병}이 깨끗해졌습니다.

4 Eshu {예슈아}가 그에게 이르되 어찌하여 말할 나쉬를 구하고 차라리 가서 네 영혼을 Kahne {제사장들}과 qareb {제물}에게 보이라 , 무쉬 {모세}가 명령한 대로 그들의 증언을 위함이라.”
 
5 이에 Eshu {예슈아}가 Kaparnakhum {Capernaum}에 들어갈 때에 어떤 Qentruna {백부장}이 그에게 접근하여 그를 찾고 있었다.

10 이제 Eshu {Yeshua}이 이 말을 듣고 놀랍게 여겨 자기와 함께 오는 자들에게 이르시되 Amiyn {진실로} 너희에게 이르노니 이스라엘 중에도 Haymanutha하이마누타를 찾지 못하였노라 이와 같이!

ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܣܓܝܐܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܥܪܒܐ ܘܢܣܬܡܟܘܢ ܥܡ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܘܐܝܣܚܩ ܘܝܥܩܘܒ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ
11 But, I say unto you that many will come from the East and from the West and will recline with Abraham, Iskhaq, and Yaqub in The Malkutha d’Shmaya {The Kingdom of the Heavens},

ܒܢܝܗ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܢܦܩܘܢ ܠܚܫܘܟܐ ܒܪܝܐ ܬܡܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܟܝܐ ܘܚܘܪܩ ܫܢܐ
12 but, the sons {i.e. the children} of The Malkutha {The Kingdom} will be cast unto the outer kheshuka {darkness}. There will be weeping and teeth gnashing!”
 
ܘܐܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܩܢܛܪܘܢܐ ܗܘ ܙܠ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܗܝܡܢܬ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܟ ܘܐܬܐܣܝ ܛܠܝܗ ܒܗ ܒܫܥܬܐ
13 And Eshu {Yeshua} said unto the Qentruna {the Centurion}, “Go, in such a way that you have believed, it will be unto you.” And his boy was healed at that moment!

ܘܐܬܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܒܝܬܗ ܕܫܡܥܘܢ ܘܚܙܐ ܠܚܡܬܗ ܕܪܡܝܐ ܘܐܚܝܕܐ ܠܗ ܐܫܬܐ
14 And Eshu {Yeshua} came unto the house of Shimeun {Simeon} and saw his mother-in-law who was lying down, and a fever had seized her.

ܘܩܪܒ ܠܐܝܕܗ ܘܫܒܩܬܗ ܐܫܬܐ ܘܩܡܬ ܘܡܫܡܫܐ ܗܘܬ ܠܗܘܢ
15 And He touched her hand and her fever left her, and she arose and was serving them.

ܟܕ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܪܡܫܐ ܩܪܒܘ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܕܝܘܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܘܐܦܩ ܕܝܘܝܗܘܢ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܘܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܝܫܐܝܬ ܥܒܝܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܣܝ ܐܢܘܢ
16 Now, when it was ramsha {evening}, they brought before Him many daywane {possessed ones}, and He cast out daywayhun {their demons}, with a word, and all of those who were evilly affected, He healed them.
 
ܐܝܟ ܕܢܬܡܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܒܝܕ ܐܫܥܝܐ ܢܒܝܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܕܗܘ ܢܣܒ ܟܐܒܝܢ ܘܟܘܪܗܢܝܢ ܢܛܥܢ
17 So that the thing which was spoken through EshaYa Nabiya {Isaiah, the Prophet} might be fulfilled, who said that ‘He will take our griefs, and He will bear our diseases.’

ܟܕ ܚܙܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܟܢܫܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܕܚܕܝܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܦܩܕ ܕܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܠܥܒܪܐ
18 Now, when Eshu {Yeshua} saw the many crowds that were surrounding Him, He commanded that they should depart unto the crossing {i.e. the further bank}.

ܘܩܪܒ ܣܦܪܐ ܚܕ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܪܒܝ ܐܬܐ ܒܬܪܟ ܠܐܬܪ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܬ
19 And a certain Saphra {Scribe} approached Him, and said unto Him, “Rabi {My Master}, I will follow you unto the place you are going.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܬܥܠܐ ܢܩܥܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܠܦܪܚܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܡܛܠܠܐ ܠܒܪܗ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܢܣܡܘܟ ܪܫܗ
20 Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “There are neqe {lairs/dens} for the thale {the foxes}, and matlala {shelters} for the pharakhtha d'Shmaya {the fowl of the Heavens}, but, The Son of Man has nowhere that He might lay His head.”

ܐܡܪ ܐܡܪ ܐܡܪ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܕܣܓܝܐܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܥܪܒܐ ܘܢܣܬܡܟܘܢ ܥܡ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܘܐܝܣܚܩ ܘܝܥܩܘܒ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ
11 그러나 내가 너희에게 이르노니 많은 사람이 동방과 서방에서 와서 The Malkutha d'Shmaya {The Kingdom of the Heavens}에서 Abraham, Iskhaq, Yaqub와 함께 앉을 것입니다.

ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܬܐ ܒܬܪܝ ܘܫܒܘܩ ܡܝܬܐ ܩܒܪܝܢ ܡܝܬܝܗܘܢ
22 But, Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “Come, follow Me, and let the miythe {the dead} bury their dead.

ܘܟܕ ܣܠܩ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܣܦܝܢܬܐ ܣܠܩܘ ܥܡܗ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ
23 And when Eshu {Yeshua} went up into a sphintha {a boat/ship}, His Disciples went up with Him.

ܘܗܐ ܙܘܥܐ ܪܒܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܝܡܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܠܦܐ ܬܬܟܣܐ ܡܢ ܓܠܠܐ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܕܡܝܟ ܗܘܐ
24 And behold, a great agitation happened in the yama {the sea}, so that the elpha {the ship} was covered by the galle {the waves}! Now He, Eshu {Yeshua}, was sleeping,

ܘܩܪܒܘ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܐܥܝܪܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܡܪܢ ܦܨܢ ܐܒܕܝܢ ܚܢܢ
25 and His Disciples approached Him, woke Him, and said unto Him, “Maran {Our Lord}, deliver us, we are perishing!”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܡܢܐ ܕܚܘܠܬܢܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܙܥܘܪܝ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܩܡ ܘܟܐܐ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܘܒܝܡܐ ܘܗܘܐ ܫܠܝܐ ܪܒܐ
26 Eshu {Yeshua} said unto them, “Why are you fearful, you zuray Haymanutha {little of faith}?” Then He stood up and rebuked the rukha {the wind} and the yama {the sea}, and there was a great calm.
 
ܐܢܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܕܡܪܘ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܡܢܘ ܗܢܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܘܝܡܐ ܡܫܬܡܥܝܢ ܠܗ
27 Now, some were amazed, and said, “Who is this that the winds and the sea listen to Him?”

ܘܟܕ ܐܬܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܥܒܪܐ ܠܐܬܪܐ ܕܓܕܪܝܐ ܐܪܥܘܗܝ ܬܪܝܢ ܕܝܘܢܐ ܕܢܦܩܝܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܕܛܒ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܫܟܚ ܢܥܒܪ ܒܗܝ ܐܘܪܚܐ
28 And when Eshu {Yeshua} came to the crossing {the further bank}, unto the region of the Gadraye {the Gadarenes}, two daywane {possessed ones} met Him, who were coming out from the cemetery, very evil, so that none were able to cross over by that way.

ܘܩܥܘ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܡܐ ܠܢ ܘܠܟ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܪܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܬܝܬ ܠܟܐ ܩܕܡ ܙܒܢܐ ܕܬܫܢܩܢ
29 And they cried out and said, “What do we have to do with each other, Eshu {Yeshua}, son of Alaha {God}? Have you come here before the time, so that you might torment us?”

ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܗܠ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܒܩܪܐ ܕܚܙܝܪܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܕܪܥܝܐ
30 Now, there was far off from them a large herd of khaziyre {swine/pigs}, feeding.
 
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܫܐܕܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܡܢܗ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܐܢ ܡܦܩ ܐܢܬ ܠܢ ܐܦܣ ܠܢ ܕܢܐܙܠ ܠܒܩܪܐ ܕܚܙܝܪܐ
31 Then those shide {demons} were seeking from Him, and they were saying, “If you cast us out, allow us to go into the herd of khaziyre {swine/pigs}.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܙܠܘ ܘܡܚܕܐ ܢܦܩܘ ܘܥܠܘ ܒܚܙܝܪܐ ܘܟܠܗ ܒܩܪܐ ܗܝ ܬܪܨܬ ܠܥܠ ܠܫܩܝܦܐ ܘܢܦܠܘ ܒܝܡܐ ܘܡܝܬܘ ܒܡܝܐ
32 Eshu {Yeshua} said unto them “Go!” And immediately they went out and entered into the khaziyre {the swine}, and all that herd went straight over a shaqiypha {a cliff} and fell into the yama {the sea/lake}, and died in the maya {the waters}.

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܪܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܪܩܘ ܘܐܙܠܘ ܠܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܚܘܝܘ ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܗܘܐ ܘܕܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܘܢܐ
33 Then those who were tending them, fled, and went unto the madintha {the city} and related every thing that had happened, and about those daywane {possessed ones}.

ܘܢܦܩܬ ܟܠܗ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܠܐܘܪܥܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܘܟܕ ܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܒܥܘ ܡܢܗ ܕܢܫܢܐ ܡܢ ܬܚܘܡܝܗܘܢ
34 And the entire madintha {city} out went to meet with Eshu {Yeshua}, and when they saw Him, they sought from Him that He would depart from their borders.

 

21 제자 중 다른 사람이 이르되 마리(나의 주)여 내가 먼저 가서 내 아버지를 장사하게 허락하소서 하니

22 그러나 Eshu {Yeshua}가 그에게 이르되, 와서 나를 따르라. 그리고 신화로 그들의 죽은 자들을 장사하게 하라.

23 Eshu {Yeshua}이 sphintha {a boat/ship}에 올라갈 때에 그의 제자들도 그와 함께 올라갔더라

24 보라, 야마(바다)에 큰 동요가 일어나서, 엘파(배)가 큰 파도에 덮였다! 이제 그 Eshu {예슈아}는 자고 있었다,

27 어떤 사람들은 놀라서 이르되 바람과 바다가 그의 말을 듣는 자가 누구냐 하고

28 Eshu {예슈아}가 건널목에 이르러 Gadraye {the Gadarenes} 지경에 이르러 두 날이 밝음이 그를 만나니 그들이 묘지에서 나오는 것이 심히 사악하여 아무도 그 길을 건너지 못했습니다.

29 그들이 소리질러 가로되 알라하(하나님)의 아들 에슈(예슈아)여 우리가 서로 무슨 상관이랴 우리를 괴롭게 하려고 때가 되기 전에 여기 왔느냐?”

30 이제 그들에게서 멀리 떨어져 있는 큰 무리의 khaziyre{swine/pigs}가 먹이를 먹고 있었다.
 
31 그 때에 그 귀신들이 그에게서 구하여 이르되 만일 우리를 쫓아내시거든 우리가 khaziyre 떼에 들어가게 허락하소서 하니

32 Eshu {예슈아}께서 그들에게 “가라!” 하고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 즉시 그들은 나가서 khaziyre {돼지}에 들어갔고, 모든 떼는 shaqiypha {a 절벽} 위로 곧장 가서 yama {바다/호수}에 떨어졌고, 마야 {the waters}에서 죽었습니다.
