Chapter 2
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܝܠܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܒܝܘܡܝ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܐܬܘ ܡܓܘܫܐ ܡܢ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ
1 Now, when Eshu {Yeshua} was born in Beth-Lekhem of Yehuda {Judah} in the days of Herudes {i.e. Herod I} the King, Magushe {Magi} came from the Madnakha {the East} unto Urishlim {Jerusalem}.
ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܐܝܟܘ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܕܐܬܝܠܕ ܚܙܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܟܘܟܒܗ ܒܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܐܬܝܢ ܠܡܣܓܕ ܠܗ
2 And they were asking, "Where is The Malka d'Yehudaye {The King of The Judeans/Jews} who has been born? For, we saw kukbeh {His star} in the Madnakha {the East} and have come to mesgad {worship} Him."
ܫܡܥ ܕܝܢ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܐܬܬܙܝܥ ܘܟܠܗ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܥܡܗ
3 Now, Herudes the King heard it, and was troubled, and all Urishlim {Jerusalem} with him.
ܘܟܢܫ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܪܒܝ ܟܗܢܐ ܘܣܦܪܐ ܕܥܡܐ ܘܡܫܐܠ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܐܝܟܐ ܡܬܝܠܕ ܡܫܝܚܐ
4 And he assembled all the Rabay Kahne {the Priest’s Chiefs}, and the Saphre d'Ama {the Scribes of the People}, and he was asking them, “Where is Meshikha {The Anointed One} born?”
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪܘ ܒܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܟܬܝܒ ܒܢܒܝܐ
5 Then they said, “In Beth-Lekhem d'Yehuda {Judah}, for thus it is written by the Nabiya {the Prophet},
ܐܦ ܐܢܬܝ ܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܝ ܒܨܝܪܐ ܒܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܡܢܟܝ ܓܝܪ ܢܦܘܩ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܗܘ ܢܪܥܝܘܗܝ ܠܥܡܝ ܝܣܪܝܠ
6 'Even you Beth-Lekhem d'Yehuda {Judah}, you will not be the least among the Malke d'Yehuda {the Kings of Judah}. For, from you will go out The Malka {The King}, He who will shepherd Ami IysraIyl {My People Israel}.'”
ܗܝܕܝܢ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܡܛܫܝܐܝܬ ܩܪܐ ܠܡܓܘܫܐ ܘܝܠܦ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܒܐܝܢܐ ܙܒܢܐ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܗܘܢ ܟܘܟܒܐ
7 Then Herudes secretly called unto the Magushe {the Magi} and learned from them at which time the kukba {the star} appeared unto them.
ܘܫܕܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܙܠܘ ܥܩܒܘ ܥܠ ܛܠܝܐ ܚܦܝܛܐܝܬ ܘܡܐ ܕܐܫܟܚܬܘܢܝܗܝ ܬܘ ܚܘܐܘܢܝ ܕܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܐܙܠ ܐܣܓܘܕ ܠܗ
8 And he sent them unto Beth-Lekhem {the house/place of bread}, and said unto them, “Go, diligently investigate concerning the talya {the boy}, and when you have found him, come inform me, so that I also can go worship him.”
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܫܡܥܘ ܡܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܐܙܠܘ ܘܗܐ ܟܘܟܒܐ ܗܘ ܕܚܙܘ ܒܡܕܢܚܐ ܐܙܠ ܗܘܐ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܩܡ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܛܠܝܐ
9 Then, when they heard from the Malka {the King}, they departed, and behold, the kukba {the star} that they had seen in the East was going before them, until it came and stood above from where the talya {the boy} was.
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܠܟܘܟܒܐ ܚܕܝܘ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܕܛܒ
10 Now, when they saw the kukba {the star}, they had great gladness of much joy!
ܘܥܠܘ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܘܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܥܡ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܡܗ ܘܢܦܠܘ ܣܓܕܘ ܠܗ ܘܦܬܚܘ ܣܝܡܬܗܘܢ ܘܩܪܒܘ ܠܗ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܗܒܐ ܘܡܘܪܐ ܘܠܒܘܢܬܐ
11 And they entered into the house and saw the talya {the boy} with Maryam {Mary}, His mother, and they fell down worshiping Him, and they opened their treasures and offered unto Him gifts; Dahba {Gold}, and Mura {Myrrh}, and Buntha {Frankincense}.
ܘܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܚܠܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܗܦܟܘܢ ܠܘܬ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܘܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܐܙܠܘ ܠܐܬܪܗܘܢ
12 And it was shown unto them in a dream that they shouldn’t return to Herudes, and they went unto their own country by another way.
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܐܙܠܘ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܚܠܡܐ ܠܝܘܣܦ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܩܘܡ ܕܒܪ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܘܠܐܡܗ ܘܥܪܘܩ ܠܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܬܡܢ ܗܘܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܥܬܝܕ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܠܡܒܥܝܗ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܘܒܕܝܘܗܝ
13 Now, when they had gone, The Malaka d’MarYa {The Heavenly Messenger of The Lord-YHWH} appeared unto Yuseph {Joseph} in a dream and said unto him, “Arise, take the talya {the boy} and His mother, and flee unto Mitsriyn {Egypt} and stay there until I tell you. For, Herudes is preparing to seek for the boy so as to destroy Him.”
ܝܘܣܦ ܕܝܢ ܩܡ ܫܩܠܗ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܘܠܐܡܗ ܒܠܠܝܐ ܘܥܪܩ ܠܡܨܪܝܢ
14 Then Yuseph {Joseph} arose, and took the boy and His mother in the night, and fled unto Mitsriyn {Egypt},
ܘܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܘܬܗ ܕܗܪܘܕܣ ܕܢܬܡܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܡܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܢܒܝܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܕܡܢ ܡܨܪܝܢ ܩܪܝܬ ܠܒܪܝ
15 and was there until the death of Herudes, so that the thing might be fulfilled that was spoken from MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} by the Prophet, who said “From Mitsriyn {Egypt} I have called My Son.”
ܗܝܕܝܢ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܟܕ ܚܙܐ ܕܐܬܒܙܚ ܡܢ ܡܓܘܫܐ ܐܬܚܡܬ ܛܒ ܘܫܕܪ ܩܛܠ ܛܠܝܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܘܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܬܚܘܡܝܗ ܡܢ ܒܪ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܫܢܝܢ ܘܠܬܚܬ ܐܝܟ ܙܒܢܐ ܕܥܩܒ ܡܢ ܡܓܘܫܐ
16 Then, when Herudes saw that he was mocked of the Magushe {the Magi}, he was very angry, and he sent and killed all talaye {the boys} of Beth-Lekhem and of all from its borders, sons two years and under, according to the time that he inquired from the Magushe {the Magi}.
ܗܝܕܝܢ ܐܬܡܠܝ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܒܝܕ ܐܪܡܝܐ ܢܒܝܐ ܕܐܡܪ
17 Then was fulfilled the thing that was spoken through EramiYa Nabiya {Jeremiah, the Prophet}, who said,
ܩܠܐ ܐܫܬܡܥ ܒܪܡܬܐ ܒܟܝܐ ܘܐܠܝܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܪܚܝܠ ܒܟܝܐ ܥܠ ܒܢܝܗ ܘܠܐ ܨܒܝܐ ܠܡܬܒܝܐܘ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ
18 “A voice was heard in Ramtha, weeping and much lamentation, RakhIyl {Rachel} mourning concerning her sons, and not wanting comfort, because they are not.”
ܟܕ ܡܝܬ ܕܝܢ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܚܠܡܐ ܠܝܘܣܦ ܒܡܨܪܝܢ
19 Now, when Herudes the King, died, The Malaka d’MarYa {The Heavenly Messenger of The Lord-YHWH} appeared in a dream unto Yuseph {Joseph} in Mitsriyn {Egypt},
ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܩܘܡ ܕܒܪ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܘܠܐܡܗ ܘܙܠ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܝܬܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܒܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܢܦܫܗ ܕܛܠܝܐ
20 and said unto him, “Arise, take the boy and His mother and go unto the land of IysraIyl {Israel}, for, they have died, those who were seeking the soul of the boy.”
ܘܝܘܣܦ ܩܡ ܕܒܪ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܘܠܐܡܗ ܘܐܬܐ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܣܪܝܠ
21 And Yuseph {Joseph} arose, took the boy and His mother, and came unto the land of IysraIyl {Israel}.
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܫܡܥ ܕܐܪܟܠܐܘܣ ܗܘܐ ܡܠܟܐ ܒܝܗܘܕ ܚܠܦ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܕܚܠ ܕܢܐܙܠ ܠܬܡܢ ܘܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܗ ܒܚܠܡܐ ܕܢܐܙܠ ܠܐܬܪܐ ܕܓܠܝܠܐ
22 But when he heard that Arkelaus was the Malka {the King} in Yehud {Judea} in place of Herudes his father, he was afraid to go there, and he saw in a dream that he should go unto the land of Galila {Galilee}.
ܘܐܬܐ ܥܡܪ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܝܐ ܢܨܪܬ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܬܡܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܒܢܒܝܐ ܕܢܨܪܝܐ ܢܬܩܪܐ
23 And he came and dwelled in the city that is called Natsrath {Nazareth}, so that the thing might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Nabiya {the Prophet}, that “He will be called a Natsraya {a Nazarene}.”
제 2 장
1 이제 헤루데스(즉 헤롯 I} 왕 Magushe {Magi}는 Madnakha {동방}에서 Urishlim우리슬림 {Jerusalem}에 왔습니다.
2 그들이 묻되 나신 Malka d'Yehudaye {유대인의 왕}이 어디 있느냐 우리가 Madnakha 마드나카{동방}에서 kukbeh쿠크베 {그의 별}을 보고 mesgad { 경배} 그를."
3 이제 헤루데스 왕이 듣고 근심하며 온 우리슬림(예루살렘)이 그와 함께 있더라
4 그가 모든 Rabay Kahne랍비 카흐네(칸)(제사장의 우두머리)와 Saphre d'Ama사프레 다아마(백성 서기관)를 모아 그들에게 묻기를 “Mesikha(기름부음 받은 자)는 어디에서 태어 났습니까?”
5 그들이 이르되 Beth-Lekhem d'Yehuda {Judah}에 Nabiya {the Prophet}가 이같이 기록하였느니라
6 '너 Beth-Lekhem d'Yehuda {Judah}라도 Malke d'Yehuda {유다의 왕들} 중에서 가장 작은 자가 되지 아니하리라. 이는 Ami IysraIyl {내 백성 이스라엘}을 보살피는 Malka {The King}가 너에게서 나올 것이기 때문이다.'”
7 이에 헤루데스가 비밀리에 Magushe마구세(동방박사)를 불러 그들에게 배웠습니다. kukba {the star}가 그들에게 나타났을 때
8 그가 그들을 베들레헴(빵의 집)으로 보내며 그들에게 이르되 너희는 가서 탈랴(그 소년)에 관하여 부지런히 조사하고 그를 찾으면 와서 내게 고하여 내가 또한 가서 그에게 경배할 수 있느니라.”
9 이에 그들이 Malka {the King}의 말을 듣고 떠나서, 본즉, 그들이 동쪽에서 본 kukba {별}이 그들보다 앞서 가다가 그것이 와서 talya {the 소년}이었다.
10 이제 그들은 kukba쿠크바 {별}을 보고 큰 기쁨으로 크게 기뻐했습니다!
11 그들이 집에 들어가 그의 어머니 Maryam {Mary}과 함께 있는 talya {소년}을 보고 엎드려 그에게 경배하고 그들의 보물을 열어 그에게 예물을 드렸으니 Dahba {Gold}, Mura {Myrrh}, Buntha {Frankincense}.

12 꿈에 그들이 헤루데스에게로 돌아가지 못할 것을 그들에게 보이시고 다른 길로 고국으로 가니라
13 이제 그들이 갈 때에 Malaka d'MarYa {주-YHWH의 하늘 사자}가 꿈에 Yuseph {Joseph}에게 나타나서 그에게 말하였다. , 그리고 Mitsriyn {이집트}로 도망하고 내가 너에게 말할 때까지 거기에 머물라. 헤루데스가 그 아이를 죽이려고 그 아이를 찾을 준비를 하고 있기 때문입니다.”
14 요셉이 밤에 일어나 그 아이와 그의 어머니를 데리고 이집트 미쓰리인으로 도망하여
15 헤루데스가 죽을 때까지 거기 있었으니 이는 선지자가 MarYa(주-YHWH)에게서 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이라 그가 이르되 내가 Mitsriyn(이집트)에서 내 아들을 불렀다 함이니라
16 헤루데스가 자기가 박사들에게 희롱을 받는 것을 보고 심히 노하여 베들레헴과 그 경계에서 두 살 이하의 아들을 보내어 다 죽이니 , 그가 Magushe {The Magi}에게 문의한 시간에 따르면.
17 그 때에 EramiYa Nabiya {예언자 예레미야}를 통하여 하신 말씀이 이루어졌나니 그가 이르시되
18 “람다에서 통곡하며 크게 통곡하는 소리가 들리니라 라헬이 그 아들들을 위하여 애통하여 위로를 받기를 원하지 아니함이로다”
19 이제 Herudes 왕이 죽었을 때 Malaka d'MarYa말라카드마이야 {The Heavenly Messenger of Lord-YHWH신의 천상메신져}가 꿈에 Mitsriyn 미쓰리인 {Egypt}의 Yuseph {Joseph}에게 나타났습니다.
