Chapter 21
1 Then Eshu {Yeshua} looked at the athiyre {the wealthy} who were casting their offerings into the treasury house.

2 And He also saw a certain poor armalatha {widow} who cast in two shamune {small coins i.e. two pennies}.

3 And He said, “Truly I say unto you, that this poor armalatha {widow} has cast in more than everyone!

4 For, all these have cast into the offering house of Alaha {God}, from what was in excess to them, yet, this one, from her lack, has cast in all she possesses!”

5 And while some were speaking about The Haykla {The Temple}, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and with offerings, Eshu {Yeshua} said unto them,

6 “These things that you see, the days will come in which no stone will be left upon a stone, that won’t be pulled down!”

7 And they were asking Him and said, “Malphana {Teacher}, when will these things be? And what is the sign when these things are near to happen?”

8 Then He said unto them, “Watch out, lest you be deceived, for many will come in My Name, and they will say that I am Meshikha {The Anointed One}, and the time has come. But, don’t go after {follow} them.

9 And when you hear of wars and riots, you shouldn’t be afraid, for these things are destined to be happening first, but, the end hasn’t yet arrived.

10 For, Ama {Nation/People} will rise against Ama {Nation/People}, and Malku {Kingdom} against Malku {Kingdom}.

11 And great earthquakes will happen in various places, and famines, and plagues. And there will be fears, and terrors, and great signs will be seen from the Shmaya {the Heavens}, and there will be great tempests {i.e. storms}.

12 But, before all these things, they will lay hands upon you and will persecute you. And they will deliver you unto The Kenushatha {The Synagogues/The Assemblies} and unto the house of prisoners. And they will bring you before Malke {Kings} and Higmune {Governors} because of My Name.

13 Now, it will be unto you for a testimony.

14 But, place it in your heart that you shouldn’t be learning how to answer.

15 For, I will give to you a mouth, and wisdom, which all your enemies will not be able to stand against.

16 But, your parents, and your brothers, and your relatives, and your friends, will betray you. And they will kill some of you.

17 And you will be hated by all mankind, because of My Name.

18 And not a hair from your head will perish!

19 Then, through your patience, you will possess naphshakun {your soul}.

20 But, when you have seen Urishlim {Jerusalem}, that an army surrounds her, then know that her devastation has come.

21 Then those who are in Yehud {Judea}, they should flee unto the tura {the mountain}. And those who are within her, they should flee. And those in the villages, shouldn’t enter her.

22 Because, these are the days of vengeance, so that all which is written might be fulfilled.

23 But, woe unto those who are batnan {pregnant}, and unto those who maynaqan {are nursing children} in those days! For, there will be great tribulation in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they will fall by the edge of the kharba {the sword} and be led away unto every land. And Jerusalem {Urishlim} will be trampled by the Amme {the Peoples/the Gentiles}, until the times of the Gentiles are finished.

25 And there will be signs in the shemsha {the sun}, and in the sahra {the moon}, and in the kukbe {the stars}, and in the Ara {the Earth}, distress of the Amme {the Peoples/the Nations}, and anxiety {lit. clasping hands} from the astonishment of the sound of the yama {the sea},

26 and upheaval that casts out the souls of the sons of mankind, from the fear of the thing that is about to come upon the Ara {the Earth}. And the powers of the Shmaya {the Heavens} will be shaken.

27 And then they will see The Son of Man, who comes with the clouds, with much power and great glory!

28 But, when these things begin to happen, be encouraged, and lift up your heads, because your salvation draws near to you.”

29 And He was speaking a Mathla {a Parable} unto them, “Look at the thitha {the fig tree}, and all iylane {the trees}.

30 When they bud, you immediately understand from them that summer has come near.

31 Likewise, when you also see these things happening, know that The Malkutha d’Alaha {The Kingdom of God} is near!

32 Amiyn {Truly}, I say unto you, that this generation {or group of people} will not pass away until all these things happen.

33 The Shmaya {The Heavens} and the Ara {the Earth} will pass away, and My Words will not pass away.

34 But, take care in regard to your soul {yourself} that your hearts never become heavy, in gluttony, and in drunkenness, and in the care of the world, and that day might come suddenly {lit. from the calm} upon you.

35 For, like a snare it will suddenly fall upon all those who dwell upon the face of all the Earth.

36 Therefore, be watching always, and pray that you might be worthy to escape from these things that are destined to happen, and that you might stand before The Son of Man.”

37 Then, in the daytime, He was teaching in The Haykla {The Temple}, and in the night, He was going out, lodging in the mountain that is called ‘The Beth Zaythe' {The Place of Olives}.

38 And all the Ama {the People} were coming early to Him, unto The Haykla {The Temple}, to hear His word {discourse}.

Chapter 22
1 Now, The Adiada d'Phatiyre {The Feast of Unleavened Cakes} was near, which is called Peskha {Passover}.

2 And Rabay Kahne {the Priest’s Chiefs} and the Saphre {the Scribes} had been seeking how they might kill Him, for, they were afraid of the Ama {the People}.

3 Now, satana had entered Yehuda {Judah/Judas}, who was called "Skariuta" {Iscariot}, who was from the number of The Twelve.

4 And he went and spoke with the Rabay Kahne {the Priest’s Chiefs}, and the Saphre {the Scribes}, and the Rabay Khayle d'Haykla {the Military Forces Chiefs of The Temple}, as to how he might deliver Him unto them.

5 And they were glad, and promised that they would give kespha {silver} unto him.

6 And he promised them, and was seeking an opportunity for him to deliver Him unto them, away from the kenshe {the crowds}.

7 And the day of The Phatiyre {The Unleavened Cakes} arrived, during which there was the custom that The Peskha {The Passover Lamb} should be slaughtered.

8 And Eshu {Yeshua} sent for Kepha {The Rock}, and for Yukhanan {John}, and said unto them, “Go, prepare The Peskha {The Passover Lamb} for us, so that we may eat it.”

9 Then they said unto Him, “Where do you desire that we should prepare it?”

10 He said unto them, “Look! When you enter into the city, a gabra {a man} meets with you who is bearing a garaba d’maya {a jar of water}. Go after {follow} him,

11 and where he enters, say unto the beth mareh {the house lord}, ‘Raban {Our Master} says, where is the lodging house where I will eat The Peskha {The Passover Lamb/meal} with My Disciples?’

12 And look! He shows unto you a certain large room which is furnished. Prepare it there.”

13 And they went and found it as He had said unto them. And they prepared The Peskha {The Passover Lamb/meal}.

14 And when the time was come, Eshu {Yeshua} reclined, and The Twelve Shlikhe {Sent Ones} with Him.

15 And He said unto them, “Desiring, I have desired that I might eat this Peskha {Passover Lamb/meal} with you, before I suffer.

16 For, I say unto you, that from now on, I will not eat it until it shall be fulfilled in The Malkutheh d'Alaha {The Kingdom of God}.”

17 {19} And He took The Lakhma {The Bread} and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it unto them, and said, “This is My Body, which concerning your persons, is given. Be doing this for Dukrani {My Memorial}.”

18 {20} And likewise also, concerning The Kasa {The Cup}; after they had eaten that supper, He said, This is The Kasa {The Cup} of The New Covenant in My Blood, which is poured out for you.

Note: Verses 17 and 18 as found in the Greek versions is not part of The Aramaic Scriptures New Testament, The Peshitta, therefore the continuing numbers in brackets match the verse numbers of the Greek version and their English translations, while the numbers without the brackets are the verse numbers for the Aramaic Scriptures New Testament.

19 {21} But, look, the hand of My betrayer is upon the phathura {the table},

20 {22} and The Son of Man goes as it has been determined, however, woe unto that gabra {man} by whose hand He is betrayed!”

21 {23} And they began to inquire among themselves who therefore from them was about to commit this act.

22 {24} Then, there was also strife among them about who among them is the greatest.

23 {25} Then He, Eshu {Yeshua}, said unto them, “The Kings of the Gentiles are their lords, and those who are authorities over them are called “Abday Tabatha” {Benefactors i.e. doers of good}.

24 {26} But, you are not thus, but rather, whoever is the greatest among you, will be as the zura {the least}, and whoever that is the risha {the head}, that one is as the servant.

25 {27} For, who is the greater, that one who reclines, or that one who serves? Isn’t it that one who reclines? Yet, I am among you as that one who serves.

26 {28} You are those who have remained with Me through My trials.

27 {29} And I promise to you, as My Father has promised to Me, The Malkutha {The Kingdom},

28 {30} so that you may eat and you may drink at the table of My Kingdom, and that you may sit upon kursuatha {chairs/seats} and might judge The Twelve Tribes of IysraIyl {Israel}.”

29 {31} And Eshu {Yeshua} said unto Shimeun {Simeon}, “Shimeun, behold, satana {the adversary} asks that he might sift you as wheat.

30 {32} And I have prayed over you that you may not lose your Faith, and also, in time, you will return and strengthen your brothers."

31 {33} Then Shimeun {Simeon} said unto Him, “Mari {My Lord}, with you I am prepared, even for the prisoner's house, and for death!”

32 {34} Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “I say unto you Shimeun {Simeon} that the tharnagla {the rooster} will not cry out today, until you, three times, will deny that you know Me!”

33 {35} And He said unto them, “When I sent you without purses, and without bags, and sandals, what thing did you lack?” And they said unto Him, “Not a thing.”

34 {36} He said unto them, “From now on whoever has a kiysa {a money bag}, he should take it. And likewise, also a tharmala {a wallet}. And whoever has no saypha {sword}, he should sell his outer garment {i.e. his cloak/coat} and buy for himself a saypha {a sword}.

35 {37} For, I say unto you, that also this which has been written, and is fitting that it will be fulfilled in Me, how it is that I will be ‘numbered with the wicked’ for, all that is concerning Me will be fulfilled.”

36 {38} And they said unto Him, “Maran {Our Lord}, look! Here are two sayphiyn {swords}.” He said unto them, “They are sufficient.”

37 {39} And He departed, and went as He was accustomed, unto the mountain of The Beth-Zaythe {the Place of Olives}, and His Disciples also departed, following Him.

38 {40} And when He came to the place, He said unto them, “You must pray, so that you will not enter into nesyuna {testing, or temptation}.”

39 {41} And He departed from them about a stone’s throw, and He placed His knees {i.e. He knelt}, and was praying.

40 {42} And He said, “Father, if you desire, you may let this cup pass over Me, however, not My will, but rather, may Your own be done.”

41 {43} And a Malaka {a Heavenly Messenger} appeared unto Him from the Shmaya {the Heavens} who was strengthening Him.

42 {44} And while He was in dekhlatha {a great fear/an agonizing dilemma}, He was earnestly praying, and dutheh {His sweat} became like drops of blood, and He fell upon the ground.

43 {45} And He arose from Tsluthe {His prayer}, and came unto His Disciples, and He found them while they were sleeping, from sorrow.

44 {46} And He said unto them, “Why are you sleeping? You must arise and pray, so that you will not enter into nesyuna {testing, or temptation}.”

45 {47} And while He was speaking, behold, a crowd, and that one who is called Yehuda {Judah/Judas}, one of The Twelve, came before them. And he drew near toward Eshu {Yeshua} and kissed Him, for this sign he had given unto them, that “Whomever that I kiss, is he.”

46 {48} Eshu {Yeshua} said unto him, “Yehuda {Judah/Judas}! With a kiss you betray The Son of Man?!”

47 {49} Now, when those who were with Him saw the thing that happened, they said unto Him, “Maran {Our Lord}, should we strike them with the swords?”

48 {50} And one from them struck the servant of the Rab Kahne {the Priest’s Chief}, and took off his right ear.

49 {51} But, Eshu {Yeshua} answered and said, “That is far enough!” And He touched the ear of that one who was wounded, and healed him.

50 {52} And Eshu {Yeshua} said unto those who had come against Him, the Rabay Kahne {the Priest’s Chiefs}, and the Qashishe {the Elders}, and the Rabay Kayle {the Chief Officers} of The Haykla {The Temple}, “As against a robber you have gone out against Me, with swords and with rods, so that you might seize Me?

51 {53} Every day I was with you in The Haykla {The Temple}, and you didn’t stretch out your hands against Me, but, this is your hour, and the power of kheshuka {darkness}.”

52 {54} And they seized Him and brought Him unto the house of The Rab Kahne {the Priest's Chief}. And Shimeun {Simeon} was coming after {following} Him from a distance.

53 {55} Now, they had kindled a nura {a fire} in the middle of the courtyard, and they were sitting around it. And Shimeun {Simeon} was also sitting among them.

54 {56} And a certain laymatha {young servant girl} saw him sitting at the fire. And she looked at him and said, “This one was also with him!”

55 {57} But, he denied it, and said, “Woman, I don’t know him!”

56 {58} And after a little while another saw him, and said unto him, “You are also from them!” But, Kepha {The Rock} said, “I am not!”

57 {59} And after one hour, another was affirming, and said, “Truly this one also was with him, for, he is also a Galilaya {a Galilean}.”

58 {60} Kepha {The Rock} said, “Man, I don’t know what you are saying!!!” And immediately while he spoke, the tharnagla {the rooster} cried out.

59 {61} And Eshu {Yeshua} turned and looked at Kepha {The Rock}, and Shimeun {Simeon} remembered the word of Maran {Our Lord} which He had spoken unto him, that ‘Before the rooster will cry out, you will deny Me three times.’

60 {62} And having gone outside, Shimeun {Simeon} wept bitterly.

61 {63} And the men who were holding Eshu {Yeshua}, were scoffing at Him, and they had covered Him,

62 {64} and they were striking Him on His face, and saying, “Prophesy who struck you!”

63 {65} And many other things they were blaspheming and speaking against Him.

64 {66} And when it dawned, the Qashishe {the Elders}, and the Rabay Kahne {the Priest’s Chiefs}, and the Saphre {the Scribes}, assembled, and they took Him up unto their council house.

65 {67} And they said unto Him, “If you are Meshikha {The Anointed One}, tell us!” He said unto them, “If I tell you, you will not believe Me.

66 {68} And if I should ask you, you will not answer Me a word, nor will you release Me.

67 {69} From now on, The Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of The Khayla d'Alaha {The Power of God}.

68 {70} Then, all of them said, “Are you therefore The Son of Alaha {God}?” Eshu {Yeshua} said unto them, “You, you are saying that ENA NA {I AM}!”

69 {71} They said, “What further witnesses do we require? For, we have heard it from his own mouth!”
