Chapter 16
1 And He spoke a Mathla {a Parable} unto His Disciples, “There was a certain gabra {man} who was athiyra {rich/wealthy}, and there was for him {i.e. he had} a rabaytha {a house chief/steward}, and slandering him, they accused him of squandering his wealth.

2 And his lord called him and said unto him, ‘What is this that I hear concerning you? Give unto me a reckoning of your stewardship, for, you are not able any longer to be a steward for me.’

3 That steward said in naphsheh {his soul i.e. his mind}, ‘What will I do, on account that my lord has taken the chief stewardship from me? Because I’m not able to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.

4 I know what I will do, so that when I am dismissed from the stewardship they will receive me into their houses.’

5 And he called, one by one, from the debtors of his lord, and said unto the first, ‘How much do you owe to my lord?’

6 He said unto him, ‘One hundred measures of meshkha {oil}.’ He said unto him, ‘Take your book and sit down quickly; write fifty measures.’

7 And he said unto another, ‘And you, what do you owe to my lord?’ He said unto him, ‘One hundred kuriyn {dry measures} of khete {wheat}.’ He said unto him, ‘Take your book and sit down; write eighty kuriyn {dry measures}.’”

8 And Maran {Our Lord} commended the steward who was unjust because he had done wisely. For, the sons of this world are wiser than the sons of light in this their generation.

9 “And I also say unto you, make for yourself friends from this mamuna d’eula {wealth of iniquity}, so that when it is consumed, they may receive you into their shelters which are eternal.

10 He who is trustworthy in little, is also trustworthy in much, and he who is unrighteous in little, is also unrighteous in much.

11 If you therefore are not trustworthy in the wealth of iniquity, who will believe you concerning the Truth?

12 And if in that which isn’t your own, you haven’t been found trustworthy, who will give your own unto you?

13 There is no servant who is able to serve two lords, for, he will either hate one, and he will love the other, or he will honor one, and the other he will despise. You are not able to serve Alaha {God}, and mamuna {wealth}.”

14 Now, when the Phrishe {the Pharisees} heard all these things, because they were loving kespha {silver/money}, they were mocking at Him.

15 Then Eshu {Yeshua} said unto them, “You are those who justify your souls before the sons of men. But, Alaha {God} knows your hearts. Because, the thing that is esteemed among the sons of men, is abominable before Alaha {God}!

16 The Namusa {The Law} and The Nabiye {The Prophets} were until Yukhanan {John i.e. John, the Immerser/the Baptist}. From then on, The Malkutha d’Alaha {The Kingdom of God} is Proclaimed, and all press into it, so that they might enter.

17 But, it is easier that the Heavens and the Earth would pass away, rather than one letter from The Namusa {The Law} might pass away.

18 Everyone who divorces his wife, and takes another, commits adultery, and everyone who takes a shabiqtha {a divorced woman}, commits adultery.

19 Now, there was a certain athiyra {rich man}, and he was clothed in butsa {fine linen} and araguna {purple}. And everyday he was luxuriously making merry.

20 And there was a certain meskina {poor man} whose name was Lazar {Lazarus}. And he was laying at the gate of that athiyra {rich man}, while being stricken with shukhne {boils/tumors}.

21 And he was desiring to fill his belly from the crumbs that fell from the table of that athiyra {rich man}. Moreover, even the kalbe {the dogs} were coming, licking shukhnuhi {his boils/tumors}.

22 And then it happened that the meskine {the poor man} died, and the Malake {The Heavenly Messengers} brought him unto the bosom of Abraham. Then that athiyra {rich man} also died, and was buried,

23 and while tormented in Sheul, he lifted up his eyes from afar and saw Abraham, and Lazar {Lazarus} at his bosom.

24 And he cried out in a qala rama {a loud voice} and said, ‘My father Abraham, have compassion on me and send Lazar, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in the waters and moisten my tongue for me. For, look, I’m tormented in these flames!’

25 Abraham said unto him, ‘My son, remember, that you received your good things during your life, and Lazar {Lazarus} bad things, and now, look! He is comforted here, and you are tormented.

26 And together with all these things, a hutha rabtha {a great chasm} is placed between you and us, so that those who desire to pass over from here to you, are not able. And neither from there, may they pass over unto us.’

27 He said unto him, ‘Therefore, I seek from you, my father, that you might send him unto my father's house.

28 For, I have five brothers; let him go witness unto them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment!’

29 Abraham said unto him, ‘They have Mushe {Moses} and the Nabiye {the Prophets}, let them hear them!’

30 But, he said unto him, ‘No my father Abraham, but rather, if someone from the miythe {the dead} should go unto them, they would repent!’

31 Abraham said unto him, ‘If they don’t listen unto Mushe {Moses} and unto the Nabiye {the Prophets} if someone from the dead should rise, they also won’t believe him.’”

Chapter 17
1 And Eshu {Yeshua} had said unto His Disciples, “It isn’t possible that offenses won’t come, but, woe unto that one by whose hand they will come!

2 It was better for him if a millstone of a khamara {a donkey} were hung on his neck and he was thrown in the yama {the sea} rather than he should offend one from these little ones.

3 Beware among yourselves! If your brother sins, reprove him, and if he repents, forgive him.

4 And if seven times in a day he might do wrong against you, and seven times in a day he should turn to you, and should say, ‘I repent’, forgive him.”

5 And The Shlikhe {The Sent Ones} said unto Maran {Our Lord}, ‘Increase Haymanutha {Faith} to us.’

6 He said unto them, “If there was for you Haymanutha {Faith}, as a grain of khardla {mustard}, you would have said unto this lathutha {mulberry tree}, 'Be uprooted and planted in the yama {the sea},' and it would have obeyed you!

7 Now, who from you whom there is for him a servant who guides a phadana {a yoke of oxen}, or who tends a flock, and if he should come from the khaqla {the field} says unto him, ‘Pass through immediately, and recline?’

8 But rather, he says unto him, ‘Prepare for me something so that I may dine, and gird up khasayak {your loins} and serve me until I have ate and drank, and afterwards you also may eat and drink.’

9 What thanks does he receive, that servant; because he did the thing that he was commanded? I don't think so!

10 Thus so, also you, when you have done all which is commanded you, you must say, ‘we are useless servants, because we have done the thing which we were obligated to do.”

11 And it happened, that while Eshu {Yeshua} was going unto Urishlim {Jerusalem}, He was crossing over unto the place of the Shamraye {the Samaritans} belonging to Galila {Galilee}.

12 And when He was near to entering into a certain village, ten leprous men met Him, and they stood from a distance.

13 And they raised their voice and said, ‘Raban Eshu {Our Master Yeshua}, have mercy on us!’

14 And when He saw them, He said unto them, ‘Go show yourselves unto the Kahne {the Priests}. And while they were going, they were cleansed.

15 But, one from them, when he saw that he was cleansed, returned to Him, and with qala rama {a loud voice} was giving praise unto Alaha {God}.

16 And he fell upon his face before the feet of Eshu {Yeshua}, while thanking Him. And he, this man, was a Shamraya {a Samaritan}.

17 Then Eshu {Yeshua} answered and said, ‘Were there not ten, those who were cleansed? Where are they, the nine?

18 Why did they separate? So that they might come and would give praises unto Alaha {God}? Except only this one, who is from a foreign people.

19 And He said unto him, ‘Arise. Go. Your Faith has made you live!’

20 And when those from the Phrishe {the Pharisees} asked Eshu {Yeshua} when the Malkutheh d’Alaha {the Kingdom of God} comes, He answered and said unto them, "The Malkutheh d’Alaha {the Kingdom of God} doesn’t come with observations.

21 And they won’t say, ‘Look! Here it is.’ And ‘Look! Over there, there it is!’ For behold, the Malkutheh d’Alaha {the Kingdom of God} is from within you!"

22 And He said unto His Disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the yamatha {the days} of The Son of Man, and you won’t see it!

23 And if they should say unto you, ‘Behold, here He is,’ and, ‘Behold, He is over there.’ You shouldn’t go.

24 For, how that barqa {lightning} flashes from the Shmaya {the Heavens}, and all under the Heavens are illuminated, thus will be The Son of Man in His day.

25 But, first it is destined that He should suffer many things, and be rejected from this generation.

26 And as it was in the days of Nukh {Noah}, thus it will be in the days of The Son of Man.

27 They were eating and drinking, and taking wives, and giving them to husbands, until the day that Nukh {Noah} entered into the Kula {the Ark} and the tuphana {the flood} came and destroyed every one.

28 And again, as it was in the days of Lut {Lot}, they were eating and drinking and buying and selling and planting, and were building.

29 But, in the day that Lut {Lot} went out from Sadum {Sodom}, MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} rained nura and kebritha {fire and brimstone} from the Shmaya {the Heavens}, and destroyed them all.

30 Thus it will be in the day that The Son of Man is revealed.

31 In that day, he who is on the roof, and his possessions are in the house, he shouldn’t descend so that he might take them. And he who is in the field, he shouldn’t turn back.

32 Remember the wife of Lut {Lot}!

33 He who desires that he might save naphsheh {his soul}, will lose it, and he who will lose naphsheh {his soul}, will save it.

34 I say unto you, that night two will be in one bed, one will be taken, and the other will be left.

35 And two will be grinding together, one will be taken, and the other will be left.

36 Two will be in the field, one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 They answered and said unto him, ‘Unto where Maran {Our Lord}?’ He said unto them, ‘Where the phagra {the body} is, there the neshre {the vultures} will gather.’”
