ܒܫܢܬ ܚܡܫܥܣܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܛܒܪܝܘܣ ܩܣܪ ܒܗܓܡܘܢܘܬܐ ܕܦܢܛܝܘܣ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܒܝܗܘܕ ܟܕܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܒܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܦܝܠܝܦܘܣ ܐܚܘܗܝ ܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܒܐܝܛܘܪܝܐ ܘܒܐܬܪܐܕܛܪܟܘܢܐ ܘܠܘܣܢܝܐ ܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܕܐܒܝܠܢܐ
1 Now, in the fifteenth year of the Malkutheh d’Tiberius Qasar {the Kingship of Tiberius Caesar}, during the Higmunutha d’Pantius-Pilatus {the Governorship of Pontius Pilate} in Yehud {Judea}, while Herudes {Herod} was the Risha d’biaiya {the Chief of the fourth} in Galila {Galilee}, and Philipus {Philip}, his brother, was the Risha d’biaiya {the Chief of the fourth} in Ituriya {Ituraea} and in the region of Trakana {Trachonitis}, and Lusaniya {Lysanias} was the Risha d’biaiya {the Chief of the fourth} of Abiliyne {Abilene},

ܒܪܒܘܬ ܟܗܢܘܬܐ ܕܚܢܢ ܘܕܩܝܦܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܥܠ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܒܪ ܙܟܪܝܐ ܒܚܘܪܒܐ
2 during the Rabuth Kahnutha {The High Priesthood} of Khanan {Annas} and of Qayapha {Caiaphas}, The Miltha d’Alaha {The Word of God} came upon Yukhanan {John}, the son of ZakarYa {Zechariah}, in the khurba {the desert}.

ܘܐܬܐ ܒܟܠܗ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܚܕܪܝ ܝܘܪܕܢܢ ܟܕ ܡܟܪܙ ܡܥܡܘܕܝܬܐ ܕܬܝܒܘܬܐ ܠܫܘܒܩܢܐ ܕܚܛܗܐ
3 And he came into all the athra {the region} that surrounds Yurdnan {the Jordan}, while Proclaiming the Mamuditha d’Athyabutha {the Immersion/the Baptism of Repentance} for the forgiveness of khatahe {sins},

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܒܟܬܒܐ ܕܡܠܐ ܕܐܫܥܝܐ ܢܒܝܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܩܠܐ ܕܩܪܐ ܒܚܘܪܒܐ ܛܝܒܘ ܐܘܪܚܗܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܬܪܘܨܘ ܒܦܩܥܬܐ ܫܒܝܠܐ ܠܐܠܗܢ
4 as that it is written in The Kathaba {The Scripture}, of the words of EshaYa Nabiya {Isaiah, the Prophet}, who said, “A qala {A voice} that calls out in the khurba {the desert}, ‘Prepare The Urkheh d’MarYa {The Way of The Lord-YHWH}, and to make straight in the aphaqatha {the plain} the shabiye {the paths} for Alahan {Our God}.

ܟܠܗܘܢ ܢܚܠܐ ܢܬܡܠܘܢ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܛܘܪܐ ܘܪܡܬܐ ܢܬܡܟܟܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܥܪܡܐ ܠܫܦܝܐ ܘܐܬܪܐ
​ܥܣܩܐ ܠܦܩܥܬܐ
5 All the nakhale {the valleys} will be filled, and all the ture {the mountains}, and the ramatha {the hills}, will be brought low, and the arma {the rough place} into shaphya {a pleasant place}, and the athra asqa {the difficult place/region} into phaqatha {a plain},

ܘܢܚܙܐ ܟܠ ܒܣܪ ܚܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
6 and all basar {flesh} will see The Khaye d’Alaha {The Life of God}.’”

ܘܐܡܪ ܗܘܐ ܠܟܢܫܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܠܡܥܡܕ ܝܠܕܐ ܕܐܟܕܢܐ ܡܢܘ ܚܘܝܟܘܢ ܠܡܥܪܩ ܡܢܪܘܓܙܐ ܕܥܬܝܕ
7 And he had said unto the kenshe {the crowds}, those who were coming to him to be memad {Immersed/Baptized}, “Yalda d’akedne {Offspring of vipers}! Who has warned you to flee from the rugza {the wrath} that is prepared?

ܥܒܕܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܦܐܪܐ ܕܫܘܝܢ ܠܬܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܫܪܘܢ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܒܢܦܫܟܘܢ ܕܐܒܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܐܒܪܗܡܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܐܦܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܡܩܡܘ ܒܢܝܐ ܠܐܒܪܗܡ
8 Therefore, produce the phire {the fruits} that are worthy for thibutha {repentance}, and don’t begin to say in naphshakun {your soul} that, ‘We have {lit. there is for us} a father, Abraham.’ For, I say unto you that from these kephe {rocks}, Alaha {God} is able to raise up banaya {sons} unto Abraham!”

ܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܢܪܓܐ ܣܝܡ ܥܠ ܥܩܪܐ ܕܐܝܠܢܐ ܟܠ ܐܝܠܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܦܐܪܐ ܛܒܐ ܠܐ ܥܒܕ ܡܬܦܣܩ
​ܘܒܢܘܪܐ ܢܦܠ
9 Now behold! The narga {the axe} is placed upon the eqara d’iylane {the root of the trees}. Every tree therefore, that doesn’t produce good phire {fruits}, is cut down, and thrown in the Nura {the Fire}.”

ܘܡܫܐܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܟܢܫܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܡܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܢܥܒܕ
10 And the kenshe {the crowds} were asking him and saying, “What therefore should we do?”

ܥܢܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܟܘܬܝܢܝܢ ܢܬܠ ܠܡܢ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܘܡܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܣܝܒܪܬܐܗܟܢܐ ܢܥܒܕ
11 And he answered and said unto them, “Whoever has {lit. that there is for him} two kuthinyan {tunics}, he should give unto whoever doesn’t have {lit. that there isn’t for him}. And whoever has {lit. that there is for him} saybartha {food}, likewise he should do.”

ܘܐܬܘ ܐܦ ܡܟܣܐ ܠܡܥܡܕ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܡܢܐ ܢܥܒܕ
12 And the Makse {the Publicans/the Tax-Collectors} also came to be Immersed {Baptized}, and they said unto him, “Malphana {Teacher}, what should we do?”

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܬܒܥܘܢ ܡܕܡ ܝܬܝܪ ܥܠ ܡܐ ܕܦܩܝܕ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܡܬܒܥ
13 Then he said unto them, “Don’t require anything more over what is commanded you to require.

ܘܡܫܐܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܦܠܚܝ ܐܣܛܪܛܝܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܡܢܐ ܢܥܒܕ ܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܒܐܢܫܬܬܛܓܪܘܢ ܘܠܐܢܫ ܠܐ ܬܥܫܩܘܢ ܘܢܣܦܩܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܦܣܘܢܝܬܟܘܢ
14 And the military servants were asking him and were saying, “What should we do also?” He said unto them, “You shouldn’t do violence to a nash {a man}, and you shouldn’t theshqun {accuse} a nash {a man}, and your wages are sufficient for you.

ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܡܣܒܪ ܗܘܐ ܥܡܐ ܥܠ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܬܚܫܒܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܠܒܗܘܢ ܕܕܠܡܐ ܗܘܝܘ ܡܫܝܚܐ
15 Now, while the Ama {the People} were masbar {thinking} about Yukhanan {John}, and they all were methkhashabiyn {pondering} in lebhun {their heart}, that perhaps He was Meshikha {The Anointed One},

ܥܢܐ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܗܐ ܡܥܡܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܒܡܝܐ ܐܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܬܪܝ ܗܘ ܕܚܝܠܬܢ ܡܢܝܗܘ ܕܠܐ ܫܘܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܫܪܐ ܥܪܩܐ ܕܡܣܢܘܗܝ ܗܘ ܢܥܡܕܟܘܢ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܘܒܢܘܪܐ
16 Yukhanan {John} answered and said unto them, “Behold, I Mamed {Immerse/Baptize} you in the maya {the waters}, but, He who comes after me, that One who is mightier than me, that One whom I’m not worthy that I should loosen the arqe {the leather straps} of His sandals, He will {Immerse/Baptize} you in The Rukha d’Qudsha {The Spirit of Holiness}, and in The Nura {The Fire}!

ܗܘ ܕܐܚܝܕ ܪܦܫܐ ܒܐܝܕܗ ܘܡܕܟܐ ܐܕܪܘܗܝ ܘܚܛܐ ܟܢܫ ܠܐܘܨܪܘܗܝ ܘܬܒܢܐ ܢܘܩܕ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܕܠܐܕܥܟܐ
17 That One who holds a raphsha {a winnowing-fan} in His hand, and cleanses edruhi {His threshing-floor}, and gathers the Khete {the Wheat} into His granaries, and will nuqed {burn} the thebna {the chaff} in the Nura {the Fire} that doesn’t go out!”

ܐܦ ܐܚܪܢܝܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܡܠܦ ܗܘܐ ܘܡܣܒܪ ܠܥܡܐ
18 But, he was also teaching many other things, and preaching to the Ama {the People}.

ܗܪܘܕܣ ܕܝܢ ܛܛܪܪܟܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܬܟܣܣ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܥܠ ܗܪܘܕܝܐ ܐܢܬܬ ܦܝܠܝܦܘܣ ܐܚܘܗܝܘܥܠ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܗܘܐ
19 Then, Herudes Tetrarka {Herod, the Tetrarch}, because he was reproached by Yukhanan {John}, on account of Herudiya {Herodias}, his brother Philipus’ antath {Philip’s wife}, and on account of all the evils that he was doing,

ܐܘܣܦ ܐܦ ܗܕܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܘܚܒܫܗ ܠܝܘܚܢܢ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ
20 he also added upon all this, and khabsheh {shut up/locked away} Yukhanan {John} in the beth asiyre {the prisoner’s house}.

ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܥܡܕܘ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܦ ܝܫܘܥ ܥܡܕ ܘܟܕ ܡܨܠܐ ܐܬܦܬܚܘ ܫܡܝܐ
21 Now, it happened, after all the Ama {the People} were Immersed/Baptized}, and also Eshu {Yeshua} was Immersed {Baptized}, and while He was praying, the Shmaya {the Heavens} were opened,

ܘܢܚܬܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܒܕܡܘܬ ܓܘܫܡܐ ܕܝܘܢܐ ܘܩܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܐܢܬܗܘ ܒܪܝ ܚܒܝܒܐ ܒܟ ܐܨܛܒܝܬ
22 and The Rukha d’Qudsha {The Spirit of Holiness} descended upon Him in the bodily form of a Yawna {a Dove}. And a Qala {a Voice} came from The Shmaya {The Heavens}, which said, “You are My Son, The Khabiba {The Beloved One}, in whom I have been pleased.”

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܒܪ ܫܢܝܢ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܡܣܬܒܪ ܗܘܐ ܒܪ ܝܘܣܦ ܒܪ ܗܠܝ
23 Now He, Eshu {Yeshua}, was about a son of thirty years {i.e. about 30 years old}, and it was thought that He was bar-Yuseph {the son of Joseph}, bar-Heliy {the son of Helee},

24 bar-Matthath, bar-Lui, bar-Melki, bar-Yani, bar-Yuseph,

ܒܪ ܡܬܬܐ ܒܪ ܥܡܘܨ ܒܪ ܢܚܘܡ ܒܪ ܚܣܠܝ ܒܪ ܢܓܝ
25 bar-Mathatha, bar-Amus, bar-Nakhum, bar-Khasli, bar-Nagi,

ܒܪ ܡܐܬ ܒܪ ܡܛܬ ܒܪ ܫܡܥܝ ܒܪ ܝܘܣܦ ܒܪ ܝܗܘܕܐ
26 bar-Math, bar-Matath, bar-Shamai, bar-Yuseph, bar-Yehuda,

ܒܪ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܒܪ ܪܣܐ ܒܪ ܙܘܪܒܒܠ ܒܪ ܫܠܬܐܝܠ ܒܪ ܢܪܝ
27 bar-Yukhanan, bar-Rasa, bar-Zurbabel, bar-Shalatheil, bar-Neri,

ܒܫܢܬ ܚܡܫܥܣܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܛܒܪܝܘܣ ܩܣܪ ܒܗܓܡܘܢܘܬܐ ܕܦܢܛܝܘܣ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܒܝܗܘܕ ܟܕܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܒܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܦܝܠܝܦܘܣ ܐܚܘܗܝ ܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܒܐܝܛܘܪܝܐ ܘܒܐܬܪܐܕܛܪܟܘܢܐ ܘܠܘܣܢܝܐ ܪܫܐ ܪܒܝܥܝܐ ܕܐܒܝܠܢܐ

5 모든 나칼레 {계곡}이 채워지고 모든 튜토리얼 {산}과 라마타 {언덕}은 낮게, 아르마 {거친 곳}은 샤피야 {쾌적한 곳}으로, 아트라사카 {어려운 곳/지역}은 파카타 {평원}으로,

8 그러므로 티부타 {회개}에 합당한 피레 {과일}을 생산하고 나프샤쿤 {당신의 영혼}에서 '우리는 {lit}을 가지고 있다. 우리를 위한 아버지 아브라함이 있다.' 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 알라하 {하나님}이 이 킵헤 {바위}에서 아브라함에게 바나야 {아들}을 키울 수 있기 때문이다.'
