Chapter 8
1 And it happened after these things that Eshu {Yeshua} was going around in the madinatha {the cities}, and in the qurya {the villages}, and was Proclaiming and Declaring The Malkutha d’Alaha {The Kingdom of God}, and His Twelve with Him,

2 and those neshe {women} who were healed from sicknesses, and from rukhe biyshatha {evil spirits}; Maryam, who is called “Magdalaytha” {the Magdala}, from whom seven shidiyn {demons} had gone out,

3 and Yukhan {Joanna}, the wife of Kuza, the steward of Herudes, and Shushan {Susan/Susanna}, and many others, those who were ministering unto them from their possessions.

4 And when a large kensha {crowd} had gathered from all the madinan {the cities}, and while they were coming to Him, He said in a Mathla {a Parable},

5 “A zarua {a sower/planter} went out to mezra zareh {sow/plant his seed}, and while he sowed, there were some that fell near the road, and were athathadiysh {trampled}, and a pharakhtha {a bird} ate it.

6 And another fell on shua {rock}, and at once it sprang up, and because it didn’t have thaliylutha {moisture}, it dried up.

7 And another fell among the kube {thorns}, and the kube {the thorns} sprang up with it, and choked it.

8 And another fell in tabatha {good} and fair ara {earth/soil}, and sprang up and produced phire {fruits}, one hundred-fold.” When He was saying these things, He cried out, “He who has ears that might hear, he will hear!”

9 And His Disciples asked Him, “What is meant by this Mathla {Parable}?”

10 Then He said unto them, “For, unto you is given to know The Raza d’Malkutheh d’Alaha {The Mystery of The Kingdom of God}, but, with the rest, it is spoken in Phelatha {Similes}, because, while they are seeing, they will not see, and while they are hearing, they will not understand.

11 Now, this is the meaning of the Mathla {the Parable}. The Zara {the Seed} is The Miltha d’Alaha {The Word of God}.

12 But concerning those that were near the urkha {the road}, they are those who hear The Miltha {The Word}, and the beldababa {the enemy} comes and takes The Miltha {The Word} from their heart, so that they might not believe, and they might live.

13 But those who fell on the shua {the rock} these are those that after they heard it, received The Miltha {The Word} with khadutha {joy}, and they have no eqara {root}, but rather, for a time their faith is, and in a time of trial, they stumble.

14 But that which fell among the kube {the thorns}, these are those who are hearing The Miltha {The Word}, and with the care, and with the wealth, and with the lusts of the alma {the world}, they are choked, and they don’t produce phire {fruits}.

15 But that which is in the ara tabatha {the good earth/soil}, they are those who that with a shaphya {a sincere} and good heart, they are hearing The Miltha {The Word}, and keep it, and produce phire {fruits} with patience.

16 No nash {man} lights a shraga {a lamp} and covers it with a ma’na {a vessel}, or places it under an arsa {a bed}, but rather, he places it on a manartha {a lamp-stand}, so that all who enter will see nuhreh {his light}.

17 For, there isn’t a thing that is covered up that won’t be revealed, and nothing that is hidden which won’t be known and come out in the open.

18 Take heed how you have heard. For, he who has, it will be given him, and unto him who doesn’t have, even that which he thinks that he has, will be taken from him.”

19 Now, His mother and His brothers came to Him, and they were not able to speak with Him because of the kensha {the crowd}.

20 And they said unto Him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they desire to see you.

21 But He answered and said unto them, “These are My mother and my brothers! Those who hear The Miltha d’Alaha {The Word of God}, and do it.

22 Then it happened on one from those days, Eshu {Yeshua} went up and sat in a sphintha {a boat/a ship}, He and His Disciples, and He said unto them, “Let us pass over unto that other side {lit. the farther bank} of the yamtha {the lake}.”

23 And while they journeyed, He, Eshu {Yeshua} laid down to sleep. And there was a storm of wind on the yamtha {the lake}, and the sphintha {the boat/the ship} was close to sinking.

24 And they came near and awoke Him, and they were saying unto Him, “Raban {Our Master}! Raban {Our Master}! We are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the storm of the sea, and they ceased, and it became calm.

25 And He said unto them, “Where is Haymanuthkun {your Faith}?” But, while being afraid, they marveled, and they were saying one unto the other, “Who indeed is this, who even gives a command unto the winds, and unto the storms, and unto the sea, and they listen to Him!?”

26 And they journeyed and came unto the region of the Gadraye {the Gadarenes} which is at the crossing, opposite to Galila {Galilee}.

27 And when He went out to the land, a certain gabra {man} from the madintha {the city} meet with Him, in whom there was a daywa {a demon/devil} from a long time, and he wasn’t wearing ma’ne {garments/clothing}, and he wasn’t dwelling in a baytha {a house}, but rather, he was dwelling in the beth qabure {the tomb houses, i.e. the burial caves}.

28 Now, when he saw Eshu {Yeshua}, he cried out and fell down before Him, and in a qala rama {a loud voice} he said, “What is the matter unto us, and unto you, {i.e. what business do we have with you} Eshu, Breh d’Alaha Marayma {Yeshua, the Son of God, the Most High}? I beseech you, don’t torment me!"

29 For, Eshu {Yeshua} was commanding him, unto the rukha tanpha {the unclean spirit}, to go out from the barnasha {the son of man}. For behold, it was a long time since he was taken captive, and he was kept fastened in shishlatha {chains} and in keble {fetters/leg irons}, and he was breaking his bonds, and was driven by the shida {the demon/devil} unto the khurba {the wilderness}.

30 Then Eshu {Yeshua} asked him, “Man shmak {what is your name}?" He said unto Him, “Legyun” {Legion}; on account that many daywe {demons/devils} had entered into him.

31 And they were begging Him that He wouldn’t nephqud {command} them to go into the lathhuma {The Abyss}.

32 Now, there was a herd of many khaziyre {swine/pigs} there, which were feeding on the tura {the mountain}, and they were begging Him to allow them to enter into the khaziyre {the swine/pigs}, and He allowed them.

33 And the shide {the demons/the devils} went out from the gabra {the man} and entered into the khaziyre {the swine/pigs}. And that whole baqra {herd} rushed unto a shaqiypha {a cliff} and fell into the yamtha {the lake} and drowned.

34 Then after the rautha {the herders} had seen the thing, they fled and reported it in the madinatha {the cities} and in the quraya {the villages}.

35 And nasha {men} came out so that they might see the thing that happened, and they came to Eshu {Yeshua} and found that gabra {man}, whose devils were cast out, while clothed and proper, and sitting at the reglahe {the feet} of Eshu {Yeshua}. And they were afraid.

36 And those who had seen it related to them how He had healed the gabra {man}, that daywana {demoniac}.

37 And the whole kensha {gathering} of the Gadraye {the Gadarenes} were seeking from Him that He should depart from their presence, because a great fear had seized them. Then He, Eshu {Yeshua}, went up into the sphintha {the boat/ship}, and returned from their presence.

38 Now that gabra {man}, from whom went out the shide {the demons/devils}, was requesting from Him that He might remain with Him, and Eshu {Yeshua} sent him away and said unto him,

39 “Return unto your house, and tell the thing which Alaha {God} has done for you. And he departed and was Proclaiming in all the madintha {the city} the thing that Eshu {Yeshua} had done for him.

40 Then, after Eshu {Yeshua} returned, a large kensha {crowd} received Him, for, they all were looking for Him.

41 And a certain gabra {man}, whose name was Yuarash {Jarius}, the Riysh Kenushtha {the Assembly/Synagogue Chief}, fell before the feet of Eshu {Yeshua}, and was seeking from Him that He might enter baytheh {his house}.

42 For, he had an only daughter, a daughter about twelve years old, and she was close to death. And while Eshu {Yeshua} was going with him, a large kensha {crowd} was pressing against Him.

43 Then a certain woman whose blood was flowing for twelve years, who among the Asutha {the Physicians} had spent all her possessions and wasn’t able to be healed by any,

44 approached from behind Him and touched the edge of His garment, and mekhda {immediately} the flow of damah {her blood} stopped!

45 And Eshu {Yeshua} said, “Who touched me? And while all were denying it, Shimeun Kepha {Simeon, The Rock}, and those with Him said unto Him, “Raban {Our Master}, the kenshe {the crowds} are forcing and pressing against you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’

46 Then He said, “Someone touched Me, for, I know that khayla {power} has gone out from Me.”

47 Now, when that anttha {woman} saw that she hadn’t escaped His notice, she came while trembling, and fell down and segdath {bowed down to/worshiped} Him, and she related before all the Ama {the People} concerning what cause she touched Him, and how she was healed immediately.

48 Then He, Eshu {Yeshua}, said unto her, “Have courage My daughter, your Faith has revived you. Go in shlama {peace}!”

49 And while He was speaking, a nash {man} came from the house of the ruler of The Kenushtha {The Assembly/The Synagogue} and he said unto Him, “Your daughter has died, don’t trouble the Malphana {the Teacher}.”

50 But, Eshu {Yeshua} heard it, and He said unto the father of the talitha {the young girl}, “Don’t be afraid, only believe, and she will live.”

51 Then Eshu {Yeshua} came unto the baytha {the house}, and didn’t allow anyone to enter with Him, except for Shimeun {Simeon}, and Yaqub {Jacob/James}, and Yukhanan {John}, and the father of the talitha {the young girl}, and her mother.

52 Now, all were weeping and mourning over her, but, Eshu {Yeshua} said, “Don’t cry, for, she isn’t dead, but rather, she is sleeping.”

53 And they were gakhkiyn {laughing} at Him, because, they knew that she had died.

54 Then, He put every one outside, and took her by the hand and called her, and said, “Talitha qumi {Young girl, arise}!

55 And mekhda {immediately} her spirit returned, and she arose. And He commanded that they should give her something to eat.

56 And her parents were astonished. Then, He warned them that no one should tell a thing that happened.
